A Sigh of REALief
About two weeks ago, I published this post, detailing a low I’d been experiencing in regards to work/life. No reliability, no semblance of a regular schedule, and my mind going to bad negative sad downer place.
And as I said in this post at the beginning of the year, this year is MIRACLE YEAR. Frankly, I’ve been feeling kinda a fire under my ass knowing that there are only two months (plus a few days) left to create miracles. Not stress per se, but…crunch time? Does that make sense?
Fast-forward to now.
Guess what?
I stubbornly decided that if I was gonna apply to a restaurant, I’d only apply to ones I felt passionate about and were my favorites and fed my soul (no pun intended). So I only turned in one application, to one of my favorites. Because the economy and job market right now is SO AWESOME like that and beggars can not only be choosers, they can be uber-picky!
And guess what?
I got the job!
Guess where?
Yay you! I’ll have to come in and heckle you! hahah! And get your sick smoothie recipes!

Congrats on the job! That’s wonderful. I’m freaking out right now, as I’m graduating this spring and I have no idea what to do with my life afterwards — especially with a literary journalism major. There are literally nooo jobs around here for ppl with little experience like me. Wahh
